Covering travel expenses and providing food is an important part of making our events and projects accessible to all.
When we were planning our most recent Making For Climate Change Project, young people told us that the cost of travelling across the city and paying for refreshments would be a barrier to them taking part so we planned our events with this in mind, choosing easy to get to locations, providing food and covering bus ticket costs. The Daysaver Ticket symbolises the support we give to make sure that anyone can take part in our projects.

To celebrate Craftspace’s 40th Anniversary, we commissioned the artist Stewart Francis Easton to create an artwork which would explore the story of Craftspace through 40 objects. Stewart created a series of four beautiful graphic quilts. You can see them at MAC until 12 April.
